Oly
I can't fault escorts at all...great value for money, well built, never let me down and kills everything I point it at I'm having to sell mine presently (hopefully to another PW member shortly!) to make space for another variation...but I wouldn't hesitate in buying another! http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=35854

auto culto
i,ll let you have a go with mine next time we have a bash, but they can be a pain in the *** as they spit carts everywhere so are a real ****** to clean up after yourself if the grass etc is long. Theres pro's and con's to both but i,m thinking about getting another o/u now for field work.

Lurch
every body loves the escorts, but they are all ways for sale why. I'm guessing that people buy them for the price but then sell them on for something a little nicer. The Escorts do what they say on the tin, but are a little bit agricultural for me. I nearly bought one but knew I'd be hankering after something a little nicer, so I swallowed the extra cost for the Beretta and didn't regret it one bit. deadeye
if you shoot your berettta 686 well (if it fits you) , i think that the al391 would be a natural for you. i shoot a 687 sporting clay gun and a recently acquired al391 black synthetic interchangeably and have a very similar success percentage going back and forth between the guns. i really like my berettas mostly because they fit me so well. this of course is a highly individual thing. Pipmoff
I have a Benelli Centro which cycles anything that has been tried in it. Its light, multichoke, adjustable stock and I really rate it not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. My mate tried a couple of shots with it and now wants a Benelli.
