Ultrastu
Good luck to you . In my area .there seems to be a guy about a mile or so away from my patch who is shooting almost daily . When ever i stop in the area to walk my dog (most days ) he is banging away with a 12 b . Last time I was out i found my first shot cleared the 200 birds from the far end of my field and were gone for the rest of the afternoon . I think although the want to feed on my fields they are so jumpy now they they clear off .as there is now quiet a lot to choose from . old'un
Trying to predict what pigeon will do is never easy, I always work on what pigeons are doing on the day, not what they might do tomorrow, as you say there's no certainty when it comes to pigeons. Good luck

Good going Dr D , a very good afternoon , I find around 5pm is more or less your lot now , today I could have packed up at 4 . 30 as very few were on the move and I only had 2 more shots when I called it a day at around 5 pm . tom_0787
It was good thanks! Ended up with 17 and didn't fire a shot before 4:30pm! Was great to get out with the dog. He's 18 months old and it was his first full days pigeon shooting, he was an absolute champ!
