mattyg1086
Hi eveyone, has anybody got any experience of forex trading or matched betting. Or any ideas of how to make an extra few quid a month? I'm looking for somewhere to put 50-100 quid a month to try to earn me a few extra quid
Lloyd90
What do you do? Easiest way would be to do a bit of over time.
mattyg1086
I'm an electrician I do overtime on occasion and private work when I get it. The reason I ask about forex and the like is it doesn't require my time and my wife can do it also
studley
Put the £100 a month into an isa and let the compound interest work for you. If you want to trade try a stocks and shares isa

Lloyd90
I've looked at these but it's not great money though is it I've had my stocks and shares ISA since July and it's up just under 3% plus I've had a dividend payment of a couple quid as well. Much better than being in the bank doing nothing

You may as well just take a punt on the gee gees as that is all you would be doing on the fx market.
Wb123
Making money with no risk, no time, and next to no investment is going to be tricky. My fund manager does an ok job on average with my surplus income. How much appetite for risk do you have?

simonm
I've been doing matched betting for about a year, I've made quite a few £k in that time. Personally I've used Profit Accumulator - have a look at their site for an explanation of how it works etc but others are available.
Pistol p
Don't make it, save it. If you can save £3.50 a day, then you're there. Micro management is worth thinking about.

otherwayup
I did match betting about 9 years ago for something to do whilst sat on the sofa in the evenings. Combined with wife's accounts it came to over 3k. I don't think I could be bothered to do it all again, but it was fun at the time. If you do it, keep a meticulous spreadsheet, stick to football (unless offer precludes) and check the forums for each bookies best offers and wait until they come along.
