Muddy Funker
How bizarre.Where's the sense in stopping what I'm guessing is their best selling ammo? I take it these have a bit more fps?
Good shot?
How bizarre. Where's the sense in stopping what I'm guessing is their best selling ammo? I take it these have a bit more fps? "Reduced velocity" is stated on their info.
Graham M
If you look at the link it actually says 1040fps on the box. Now that isn't reduced is it? as the 40grn stuff was @ that speed. As for being of poorer quality.......all that you are losing is 2grns; something which no-on would notice in the firing of the rifle, but can you imagine how much lead Eley are saving over the course of millions of bullets. Rimfireboy
I haven't tried any of these yet, but I've always found eley to be very good generally. I hope they've improved the boxes, but from the pictures they look the same :-( to me.
super sharp shooter
The box is the same

Funnily enough I won't use anything other then Eley Tenex/Match for match shooting but prefer Winchester Super x for vermin as it seems to be slightly faster and more accurate in my Finnfire.
