Caravanman
I'm lucky to shoot crows on a farm which gets hit hard by geese from around December onward. There are Pinks and Greys but I can only justify a few decoys as I would only be out after them a few times. What type will I go for? Will Pink foot decoys bring in Greys and vice versa? I'm I better getting Greylag decoys?
Konnie
By volume I would say once they turn up pinks are most common..... but the greys could be more resident. I would go for pinks myself.
panoma1
You could just get any grey goose decoys or rags, they will bring both pinks and greys in!...........Assuming the geese are not heavily shot at, and are feeding on that particular field that is?.......keep well hidden and don't overdo the use of the call. hatsanmad
Personally i would opt for silosock decoys in this situation as they are very universal for greys and pinks. Round by me i mainly get pinks but when i go to see a mate in yorkshire its greys and i have pulled grey and pinks in with the silosocks plus they dont take up much room and are very light weight. I only have silos and now have 70 plus of them and i can carry all of them with the gun cart bag and game bag and hide bag with no difficulty

Continental Shooter
I've got 12 of these although i distinctively recall paying just about £30 for half a dozen...they must be in demand.... I also add to the pattern another dozen or so decoy carved out of plywood, painted with a generic matt brown color and few white strips ... they were my first attempt at 2D decoy and, TBH, on the first day out they pulled 3 flocks in (from which i got 4 pink) if my mate's around he'll add a dozen FUD but i really didn't see the need to spend that amount of money they work on all geese (in fact the pattern on the sillosocks body is pretty much the same, only the head changes) and i even pulled in a few canada (rarity!) before they decided they didn't like my call... as they said, don't overdo with the call Once they spotted the decoy and they're setting in, a few honk will convince them they wanna be there,
moongeese
These are nice. http://www.lucky-hunter.com/product/avian-x-pinkfoot/ A friend just purchased some of these decoys, they are superb. He was trying to get them through this country, but ended up buying them from Denmark, a lot cheaper.
figgy
Texas rags can be bought on a roll and work quite well, Sillosocks with different heads are good and light weight for packing and carrying .
