Knock on the door, coppers wanting to know where my mrs car is parked. 19 weeks preggers and bad back she's let it at work the other day and come home in a taxi.

Long story short it's not there, it's at a tube station in north London with a smashed quaterlight, ignition and etc..

I've been on the sauce so I can't pick it up, she's laid out. They offered to bring it back to us, by driving it here!

I am speechless, amazing service, I would have got it tomorrow when I wasn't ****** but they reckon it won't be there (I trust them).

Hats off :good:

Well they came back, with the car and it aint all that bad.

Loads of advice from them, one of them brought the stereo front out of the glovebox (Grr mrs!) and gave me a lecture about not leaving that there :good: Mind, he's just done me a massive favour so taken on the nose :good:

Will call up their inspector tomorrow and make it known how good they were :stupid:

you'll probably find they get a ####ing for doing it :good:

but hats off to them if a few more public service workers got off their **** it would improve the public perception of them and make their life easier. In your case they've saved having to look for the car again once it was moved on and actually cleared up a crime straight away. I've been dealing with the local planning and listed buildings dept recently and I've never met a worse more inefficient department in all my life. Really bugs me that we pay for it

Now they are a funny lot to deal with, i deal with the planning people almost every day and to say they are pain in the **** is an uderstatement.

Nice to hear Plod do a good job in the community for a change anyhow.

Paul :good:
