After a long wait (weeks) eventualy got this vixen at just about 150yards. I have had miffy and deadeye Ive after some foxes that have been taking Mr farmers kids chickens and ginea fowl, and craping on the silage bales which then are usless as the cattle wont touch due to the smell and being contaminated with you know what. They have been very shy indeed any sign of a lamp and there off like a rocket. i had to resort to baiting with rabbits and left over from the sunday roast  for weeks if not months.

any way usual time about 22.15 they are about. It wasnt the one that we had seen last friday when myself and miffy were out that was a huge dark one like an Alsation. But this Vixen was having a sniff around the baited area when it recieved a Nosler 55gn being pushed by 36.5 grains of H380. The pudding without the custard

well chuffed gets the heart beating.

Got a text from my Bro who lives next to the field "Did you get it" ? then Mr farmer same question.

rabbits were from another permision 5 minutes away with the HMR

Savage or Remmy Dougy? Your patience has paid off well done!

Its a Sako75

Really, I must read up on their info again. The barrel and action looks to me like a savage whilst the laminate stock is remington'esque - oh well...best go have a look at some Sako's.
