Crumpler1991
I have a mk38 adjustable stock but the front screw keeps coming loose in under 100 shots any tips how i can keep it tight? Tia
steve_b_wales
You could put some Loctite 222 on the thread. This should stop it coming loose, but won't seize up.

Gordon R
I have had a few adjustable comb guns, some seemed less prone to movement, which loosened the screws. If you have the comb set in one position, rather than changing it for different disciplines, pack the riser tube with rubber washers. It helps take the vibration / movement from the mechanism. Fishing Richie
I use the rubber washer trick as Gordon R above. Cured a similar issue with my adjustable stock.
welshwarrior
Rubber/nylon spacers as Gordon says washers work well as first port of call. Then a better threaded grub screw.
JohnfromUK
You can get screws with a 'thread patch' on them. This https://www.anochrome.com/processes/nylon-locking-patch/ is one type. I don't have an adjustable comb, but Loctite grade 222 is a 'dismantleable' grade. I have used 222 on various 'problem' screws on guns. Be aware that some Loctite grades are intended to be permanent, so not to be used on things you may wish to alter on a later occasion.
