Salop Matt
And again I turn to the PW population for some advice / recommendations. I am about to do my loaders course and am keen to get out and get some loading experience under my belt. However I will require a loaders bag before I start......so from the experienced loaders amongst us..... What bag do you recommend ? Wb123
My better half bought a ebay £40 job (someone occasionally sells them on here also). It clearly wasnt designed to take the weight of a full fill with cartridges but with a few cheap and simple modifications has come good. figgy
Croots loaders bag, it has the loops to hold 15 pairs of carts on the outside ready to hand.
welshwarrior
Exmoor loaders bag best by far out lasted everything else and works better and holds 250 12 bores for those busy back to back drives

CharlieT
Another vote for the Exmoor made by Acorn Saddlery. They make 2 versions .... http://www.acornsaddlery.co.uk/shooting/fast-loading-cartridge-bags http://www.acornsaddlery.co.uk/fast-loading-exmoor-beast-cartridge-bag I've used the 200 capacity one for some years and have found it excellent, it's hugely popular round here. matone
Something big enough for 150-200 with a very stiff opening so that you can easily access the carts even when scraping the bottom !lol Learn to load with your left hand with bag on left side if you don`t already ! Blackpowder
There is a device called a Gannochy,(I think that is the correct spelling) which holds a number of cartridges head up in clips. Loaders who have used them claim they are the quickest loading method there is, no personal experience I am afraid. I have googled and they are still made at a price but reviews are good. matone
Once used a Gannochy for a week on grouse to give it a fair trial ,worked ok but I reverted to the bag afterwards. The recent ones aint a patch on the Prain originals for my money ! Edited April 12, 2018 by matone
