Even though he was Welsh I was glad to call him a friend and the world is a worse place for his departure RIP Allan. We didn't see each other often, but we went boat fishing a couple of times and had a Xmas pint together. Very knowledgeable man, not just fieldsports, and will be sorely missed. Sleep well Allan.
