Guest cookoff013 Posted June 27, 2018 Report Share Posted June 27, 2018 probably bismuth, because of the fibre issues. there are only a few manufacturers who make fibre wadded shells in bismuth. https://gamebore.com/uk/cartridge/game/12G-Gamebore-Bismuth now gamebore has been at the forefront of nontoxic shot with tmx, steel etc. it was about time they went for bismuth. i would also adopt the larger shot sizes to be like for like lead loadings, that would be BIS #4. as the density is less. of course homeloads would be slightly cheaper. panoma1 Posted June 27, 2018 Report Share Posted June 27, 2018 Early Eley GP Bismuth were carp....size 5 or 6 wounded too many driven duck...it was like "throwing a handful of gravel at em" they improved with Eley Forest Bi........but for shop bought, I concur with the above use 4's.....Gamebore would be worth a go.....with fibre wads and properly loaded they should do the job.
