BritishShooting
Ideally after a decent and robust pocket knife, not something i'm familiar with as I just use a Mora for field dressing. I'm after one for my dad as a gift as his trusty Kershaw pocket knife from the Snap-On man broke after several years of use. Is there a good or better alternative for sub £75ish as i'd like to get one as a gift but don't want to spend too much and stay within the budget. His job means he uses it everyday from cutting open boxes, plastic containers, cable ties to seatbelt. Maybe even get him a semi decent easy to use blade sharpener of some kind as he will wear the blade frequently. Salop Matt
EKA Sweede. I Have a number 8 with orange handle. Well under your budget leaving some cash for a sharpening system. I have one and it sharpens great and holds a great edge. Its a thick solid blade and well made. Sharpening wise get a Lansky Sharpening system with the little clamp and hones that fasten to guides
Ultrastu
My every day carry (edc) Is a cold steel mini tufflite . Its stanley knife shaped so perfect for box cutting etc .but the steel is excellent .ive had mine 5 years or so now .and i use it every day at work. Its been sharpened a lot. So the blade is a touch stunted now .but still sharp . The screws have never come loose .id be lost without it .

wymberley
The problem is here is that what defines a pocket knife is age dependent. Only two of these to my mind would qualify, but the change in the law has reduced this to one. Until lunchtime today, I would have recommended the Otter but as I now have one of these, this is where my recommendation now lies. As it's for Father and he may just be worth it, they're certainly worth a look. https://www.thebushcraftstore.co.uk/non-locking-knives-282-c.asp The only comment I have in the way of criticism is that the sheath will need to ease off a tad to become workable.
