pin
Nice one Martin, I wish we had beer carts on courses round these parts! Still not played since Cat invited me out, very jealous of the 40C weather, I have been considering trading my HMR in for a spear gun and some flippers
the last engineer
nowhere near medal comps Hawkeye, though i did ask the owner if i could get a company jacket in GREEN dont think he saw my side of the request. Pin another added bonus is the wildlife here on the cources, geese are a pain in th erear, but many times ive watched the deer amble across, one moose, who i didnt have an issue with, big sucker too, cyotes by the score, foxes, beavers, and by far the best visualy pleasing sight, red tailed hawks, peregrines, what i beleive to be a Kestrel, still re-searching it. god life is good booking up an 18 for sat and sun, to hot to shoot clays, and i can only drink when golfing Martin

Very nice! Last time out with Cat we saw a good number of Muntjack frolicking about, the course is on common land so there's no shooting on it anywhere and they know it. At first one or two then literally a stampede of about 15+ came belting through. In fact that day was pretty awesome, the weather really smiled on us. Way back in April I think that was or even March and it was bright sunshine and warm. I need to find myself a club and join

If you could get a few with your golf club I'd appreciate it, they're having a good go at mine and my neighbours gardens at the moment. There're a lot around this year. Catamong
Well, I played Berko GC on Wednesday evening, unfortunately for me it was blowing a gale and I managed a very poor 22 points off my 22 handicap, the greens were like "Carpets in Hull", i.e. absolutely sodden, very reminiscent of conditions you would expect in early Feb..!! It's a pity Pin wasn't there to show me how to play the noble game, I was nobbing it here, there and everywhere, zig-zagging across the fairway from rough to rough..!! And, guess what, the deer are still there, I sliced a ball into the thick rough, (bent it better than Beckham,,!!), and lo & behold a Muntie came leaping out, double quick time, I reckon it was a bullseye..?? Thank God I don't have to earn a living out of playing golf, (or shooting)..!! Martin, from the tone of your post, it sounds like your courses are far better places than most UK courses, all of that totty serving cold beers, I'm sure it would put me off my stroke..! Let us know when you're over in September, I've got thousands of Woodies on my patch at the moment, but no time to shoot 'em, so I'm sure we could sort something out..?? All the best, Cat. pin
I've been out to the range near Claudio's with the new driver and I've probably cost them one in two over the back into claudio's place since I got it

Catamong
Hmmm, So I'm not the only one that's mega sliced a crappy range ball over the fence in the direction of poor Wayne, just as he was filling up the DTL trap..!! At least I remembered to shout "fore right..!!" Still, I'm now looking for a super hot Cobra anti slice driver, every one straight down the middle, 250 yards & counting..!! Cat. pin
I was on about the ones that would land were claudio burns the shells, not the back of the sporting stands over by the ZZ - geez, that defines SLICE!
decroyffe
Golf's a lovley game when your playing it well. As it stands i'm not. When i tee off it's more like a red arrows display, one left, one right, loop the loop and all that ,. I'm sure i've found the problem tho, dodgy clubs. There like my shotgun, unpredictable one other thing i'm sure about is that beer cart with the fit chick, i'd like those here

All the best, Cat. http://www.northernbeargolf.com/real_estate.php one of the best cources, knowing the management team helps too Cat, i know the cources are in very good shape here, but remember this unless you have orange balls you wont be playing in the winter the season is short unfourtunatly, cources open around april and close end october, the last round i played in 06 twas snowing for the last 3 holes, not very comfortable but had to be done, might turn into a snowbird for winter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, have guns and clubs will travel, got an invite to shoot in Uraguay february, big dove hunts, not to sure on work schedule yet so on hold, could throw out the 3iron and slip in the 391 with tube ex, im sure they wouldnt notice Martin
