thats a good idea guys, we had this problem last year, through the course of the day we had about 25-30 members turn up, each potentially having 2 names i needed to know, thats 60 names to learn in 1 day. I never stood a chance :good:

stickers are a good idea, altho i feel sorry for people with odd screen names when wandering the camp

Last time out at the Essex masters pete was pondering a name-change when Mungler fetched out the baseball caps with screen-names emblazoned on the front - wandering about with "tosspot" on his hat made him think twice :good:

I think I'll have to avoid 'er indoors for a few days after this......after a weekend of nothing but protein and beer I'm not gonna be that "civilised"

I'll bring a couple of radios, beer, scrumpy, veni and rabbit burgers/sausages etc. Is anyone taking a decent BBQ or grill? if not I'll see if I can borrow one.

We are zeroing our rifles Martin and it's OK to use expanding ammo (Even though there might be a competitive spirit enter in to things) ...........if you was to enter a official Comp set up by a affiliated rifle club you would have to use solid .

I'm pretty sure Martin Cavie can explain the minor details better than I .

Blimey we are all starting to get a bit complicated, if you want to shoot to official NRA rules then you rifle must be chambered and proofed to fire standard readily available 7.62 x 51 NATO ammunition.

As far as I am concerned we are there for a bit of fun and as long as you have insurance you can shoot what you like, as long as you do not exceed the range regulations with calibre or muzzle velocity.

So sorry guys you'll have to leave the the .50cal at home

I am there this afternoon, I need some 6.5 so I will ask what they have, they had over 1,000 rounds last time I asked, but to save dissapointment you can email the armoury to be sure ( fred.james@nra.org.uk )

He only works one half of the week (can't remember which half) and he is a man of few words, you have been warned
