If the quota is not full or the requirements have not been toughened then I am yet another American to find an open door here.

I was in the UK once for grouse w/pointers and decided that should I return then a try at wood pigeons would definetly be on the agenda.

If that trip occurs then I will have questions.

I can say that I met many folks on that past shooting trip that left me with good memories to this day.

A daughter and brand new son-in-law are in Ireland as I type and I reckon their experiences are much the same.

 

Ruffed Grouse, woodcock and wild pheasants are the upland birds for me and FDSB English Setters(Rock & Joe) are the tails that I follow after each one.

 

I hope to learn much from this BB that increases my appreciation of another shooting/hunting life pretty well unknown to me.

Your relatives in Ireland probably have the hunting a bit better than we do although there are some magical place here, but not where I am :good:

 

Where are your daughter and son in law based?
