me too, can you describe which ones are which eddie and whats best, ie long range short range etc

The materials are stainless steel, copper and brass plate, this does not make a difference to the sound. The hole size is the key and how far back fron the open vee the holes are drilled. They are all loud but the larger hole version is very loud in fact it will make your ears ring. The trick is placement of the tongue on the top plate, with movement of the tongue you can control the pitch and sound also when you move your tongue your mouth shape moves in shape and this makes different sounds. All can be very loud or muffled down for close in work. the whistles are not easy to first master but once you have got it it is easy to pick up place in the mouth and hit the correct notes. The black goose call is one I have made for some years and hundreds of wildfowlers have got these from me for Pinks and greys (solwaycalls).

Sorry lads I only look on here through the day (work computer).

I do not make crow or Magpie calls at the moment.

The goose calls I have made for some years now they are £21 posted UK.

The Fox calls I could make and post for £11 (UK)

These I would make from Stainless steel, I find the stainless is better in the mouth and you can wash them better as they do get a bit dirty after a while.

I have called foxes with these whistles, like all calls they don't work all the time but they do work.

If anyone wants a call send me a message on here and I will give you my work Address.

Cheers

Eddie
