BenBhoy
Had a few ferals in the cattle shed, pooping all over. Finally found time to get air rifle on them today. Will they be worth freezing to put on a flapper next time out decoying woodies?
TIGHTCHOKE
Only if you paint the white wing bars on, that is what stands out for the woodpigeons mates to see.
TIDES EDGE
They will be better than nothing and should work but change them for woodies as soon as you get one.

B725
Put them out with your decoys we often get them landing with the wood pigeon

And don’t forget to use use UV paint or they will not pull any pigeons.

Walker570
I saw some pieces of white tape, the sort used to seal up pipe joints tied where the white wing markings are on floaters. The pigeons pitched in no problem. OK it was a breezy day and the lengths of tape fluttered which helped. I always say try it. you never know until you do. Movement is the thing without a doubt.
