I'm looking for tips on Crow/Rook etc. decoying Where I shoot pigeons seem to be awol so I would like to have a crack at the black ones. I've had a few but how do I decoy them ? bruno22rf
Not sure if I would be happy shooting Rooks over decoys - most will have young in the nest?
david Paul Gag
I see your point Bruno you have me thinking but not sure the farmers will think they just won't em dead what do others think on this
Konnie
If its for crop protection its for crop protection, whether you feel its right or not at this time of year its a job done at the farmers request, as if No1 shooter wont do it No2 will, lost permission. bruno22rf
If your permission depends on you starving chicks to death then maybe you should consider finding another piece of land. You can shoot the brancher's soon - much more humane but you seem unsure as to wether we are discussing Rooks or Crows? I will blow a crows nest from a tree without thinking twice.
