Harry136
Hi Have a look at the Browning below, should suit your requirements. As for scopes, depends on your budget. https://browning.eu/products/rifles/bolt_action/x-bolt_sf/A-XBMCMLRATACSAU.html
welshwarrior
Remington 700 battle proven tactical rifle used but Military and Law enforcement can’t get more tactical than that. Build it as you want it. Or best tactical bolt action in the world the AI but the specific target discipline and hunting will help use advise you more. Wingman
I had a Blaser LRS2 for a while, although was in 6.5x55 but they come in .308. Topped off with a S&B scope was an amazing rifle. Pricey but worth a look.

My feelings, I just don't see Tactical and Hunting in the same sentence!

Now I know that the gun underneath is just the same but that is not the way it is perceived. I'll stick to my Remington 700 in .243 and fieldcraft and patience. Remimax
simple soultion put in for two rifles, one heavy wieght tactical paper puncher/gong ringer and one sensible light hunting, sorted Edited May 1, 2019 by Remimax
The Burpster
You can have your cake and eat it something like a Tikka T3X Sporter (which I have in 6.5x55) or a Sako TRG22. But as said before these are not lightweight rifles. If by hunting you mean ambushing from a high seat or vehicle then these will fit your bill as can you develop a target load and and a sporting load. If on the other hand by hunting you mean crawling for 400m on your belly for a one off shot at a prize Buck/Stag then I would suggest the two uses are incompatible and two rifles is a better (and less eyebrow raising) option.
