JohnfromUK
It may be worth noting that Leatherman do a UK friendly version (no knife blade) called Rebar EDC version. You can carry a small separate non locker knife if you need that part. Charge TTi is the best (for me), but not UK law friendly and it is expensive. The Victorinox Swiss Tool is very well made, but heavy. I have one of the early Leathermans, but the blades don't lock and that has cost me blood more than once. I would not now use one where the bits don't lock. As has been said, Leatherman service (Whitby & Co) is excellent. My first Charge TTi blade interlocking pieces broke ........ replaced quickly and free.
impala59
IMHO the Leatherman Wave is the best compromise between weight, size, usefulness and price. Always have one with me ( I bought a second in the states as a backup and it’s still in the box)

Drawn blood on more than one occasion with my original non locking blade leatherman, purchased it in Westport Co Mayo, around 30 years ago!.........Retired it years ago as I wanted to keep my fingers! Lol! I have the leatherman charge, excellent bit of kit! Edited May 9, 2019 by panoma1

moor man
+1 for gerber. Main reason being I broke the blade on a previous gerber and they sent me this f.o.c. great service (Fiskars look after the warranty now)
