bruno22rf
So after months of anguish, decisions, late night review read ups and hours of contemplation, I had, as you may already know, decided on a lighter Air Rifle for my Squirrel bashing forays. My final decision was, truth be told, dictated by my heart rather than my head although the resulting Wildcat is renowned for it's lightweight and (bonus?) compactness. So with the arrival today of a rather smart looking "Tactical" BSA Gun Bag ("Tactical" - Latin for small, black and twice the price of absolutely anything without the word "Tactical" printed on it) I put my new combo together and popped her in her "Tactical" clothes and hoisted her on the scales, mmmmmmmmm, just over 11.5 lbs, Whoops. Anyone got a Bullworker gathering dust?
Ttfjlc
That bag must have one heck of a heavy duty zip, I knew you should of waited for the dreamline bullpup

Pigeon Shredder.
Can lend out my TX200 if you want to build your upper body strength 😬
bruno22rf
That's the weight inside the "Call of Duty" bag ,Mice, God alone knows how anything so heavy as the bag can be Tactical - maybe meant to be dropped on a target from a B52? Not much choice, however, where the Cat is concerned cos it's so tall with my scope roosting on top. But at least she's ready for action (once I buy an Electric Golf Thingy) - left hand cheek piece check/new Bag check/favourite pellet check/Bank balance depleted cheque. Mr.C
Do you still have the S200?
bruno22rf
S410 Carbine m8 - had a 200 years ago, never should have sold it but Hey Ho. Will give the Cat a fair crack of the whip - main problem is muscle wastage over the last few years since I retired and running on 25% of just one Kidney doesn't help but then if not for the Dog and love of shooting I would probably not be here. Mice!
does that mean the 410 is still lighter then? I thought the weight was a problem when your shooting, hadn't thought of the weight being a problem walking. Keep going fella, squirrels to shoot and dogs to walk 👍
Chaz25
You know the saying "the more you use some thing the lighter it gets"
bruno22rf
That's my Bank Balance you are describing Chaz25!! Mice - weight is a problem both ways - I can park within 250 yards of most of the feeders but carrying gun/gear etc with heart failure and severe muscle wastage is hard going. Quick look on google reveals that the FX and the S410 carb (walnut) weigh the same - so mounting the Hubble Space telescope on the FX then putting it into BSA's concrete Tactical overcoat may be where I've gone a bit Pete Tong.Ah well - there's always the Dogs steroids. Mr.C
What you need is an interested young person to mentor. And carry your kit.
