Benthejockey Posted November 1, 2019 Report Share Posted November 1, 2019 They're called horse chestnuts because they bear a passing resemblance to the chestnut on the inside of a horses leg. Posted November 3, 2019 Report Share Posted November 3, 2019 Went out with the kids today expecting to see a load of conkers, there is a strip of chestnut trees nearby but we hardly found any, a few were chewed so the squirrels must have been busy.
