figgy
Wonder who did make them as they use jsb pellets normally. Shame no one makes a lightweight slug for sub 12 guns. The better BC would be good and the expansion.
Arron yeates
Have you seen the video for these by Justin at Utah Airgubs on youtube? Seems really good

villaman
Just seen this From the mouth of Rat Sniper Mike himself "As you all know by now, the FX Hybrids are out! Rat Sniper Slugs has teamed up with a local bullet manufacturing company that currently manufactures some of the best match pistol bullets on the planet. Their top machine technician is the one running the high speed machines. We had to have custom machines built to be able to produce this design… it's a much more involved manufacturing process than what it takes to produce a simple hollowpoint. I have teamed up with FX to utilize their worldwide dealer network and will no longer sell direct. I am manufacturing these exclusively for FX. Just to squash any rumors FX in no way backed me to aquire the machines – it's something I did on my own. I still have full rights over my patent pending hollow core design and I'm directly involved in the manufactu
figgy
Looking better all the time the advancement in air rifles and projectiles. Whether they will shoot out of a standard barrel remains to be seen. Most are pants unless you fit the slug liner to the FX guns. H&N slugs work from standard barrels, but obviously from FAC running @ 30 + fpe
figgy
The FX pellet barrels have twist rates and chokng to suit pellets. The slug liners are different. The new slugs maybe made to shoot out of both.
villaman
I shoot H&N slugs out of both liners , pellet and slug liners , no difference in accuracy at all . The slug liner came and built on the neilson slugs . Don’t know what is going to happen now with neilson slugs ,should of made a effort to ship world wide
figgy
If these new ratsniper FX slugs work the slug liners will be obsolete for most people. They look like they will expand more than Nielsen slugs too. H&N haven't missed a trick either.
Ultrastu
Im starting to get interested in these slugs now Especially as the .25 cal hybrid will be 26 grns .only 1 grain more than jsb kings . But with a much higher bc .. If they shoot well out of a standard st.barrel then i will be ecstatic .

figgy
I hope they make .177 slugs, as the sub12 speed might be ok. Might start to see faster twist rates to suit slugs in the future. Edited November 30, 2019 by figgy

Yet to see anyone makimg this however slugs are getting more popular so maybe there comming???
figgy
Video of the 22grain .22 FX slugs being shot at 940 FPS into clay from 70 or 100 yards out to 300 yards, it's by American airgunner.
Arron yeates
Yeah not watched this yet. Startes to watch it then got interupted. On my list for tomorrow. Red box = .22 cal 22 grain What are the others i can read them
figgy
At a guess I'd say a heavier .22 and other bigger calibers.

figgy
I did read that, still needs to be seen to be believed. I hope they do as it will open slugs up to more people who don't want to buy a slug liner. 14.99 for a 100 in the USA, that'll be in pounds over here then. 15p per slug is expensive.
