pin Posted August 10, 2007 Report Share Posted August 10, 2007 £62 or £64 I think, includes breakfast, shooting kicks of at 10am with a break for lunch. At least that's how it used to be. You know we do shoot a lot late in the year, but if we did it nowish, or around nowish, we could shoot a lot more. I know the point isn't to shoot as many as you possibly can, well, for me it's not. Doing it when the nights are lighter means we can take it a little easier, still shoot 500 if we want to and have a better chance of the weather.. I'm up for it anytime though, its a laugh. Where I say "up for it" and such like I refer to the activity of clay shooting, not bum stuffery or other gayness as previously mentioned. Still no reason not to arrange an earlier date which is what I tried to do some time ago, but it seemed to fall flat. Too many people entering competitions me thinks?!?!?!?! Still for £60-65 quid for the amount of shooting we had that day, you can't knock it really. Question, Have you ever attended a PW meet up? Only I seem to recall an awful lot of posts where you say yes to various meet dates and then have an excuse as to why you couldn't make it. I know the usual suspects will be there, but it would be good to meet others from here who either haven't been before or I haven't met yet. Cracking day on the clays, good company, with inordinate amounts of banter and p*** taking. And if we get weather like last year, then it truely will be a fantastic day.
