Will Poon
It appears that the shoot in the desert is back so to speak organised by Ben Husthwaite, all details are on Facebook and Instagram. Its a 200 bird sporting over the first 2 days then which is the first event then another 200 bird kind of sportrap event over 4 days, the cost are 220 dollars for the sporting and 280 dollars for the other event. Its to be held in the Al Ain shooting range to be run on the Lewis class system. Whats everyone’s thought on this shoot? Yes I have and many others from the Uk have when the Nad al Sheba 2015 desert shoot was on it’s quite straight forward, it was if you flew with Emirates. Cawdor118
Ooh sounds interesting! Did you enjoy the shooting once you were there? I have been to the middle east multiple times, but never to shoot.
Will Poon
Yes it was fun as I always enjoy any form of shooting added bonus was Digweed was a squad in front of us so it was nice to see him shoot. Treated it more of a holiday with my wife as it can get quite expensive over there just to shoot a few clays.

Westley
I still get jibes from incidents that occurred 30 + years ago ! The shooting world is a cruel one. 😄
Benhusthwaite
This is correct, it will be a very special event Over £100k in prize fund, this is more a soft opening for the bonanza event of 2021. 200 sporting Monday Tuesday and 200 5 stand style Thursday - Sunday the city of al Ain is gorgeous and will host this event. I’m lucky to have struck a huge deal with the UAE for shoots both here and abroad to push the sport forward. I won’t be competing as I’m setting the targets. head to Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Target-Club-Al-Ain-108789267360279/?epa=SEARCH_BOX for details
figgy
Very expensive to shoot clays , no different than going to America to shoot I suppose. Not for me, too plain all that sand. Enjoyed watching the shoot videos of Nad Al Sheba. Bet Will could get stuck, it's sand 🤫
Will Poon
Very doubtful that I’ll be going.
