Centrepin
Has anyone experience of these and a rough price please? RFD had run out of my normal carts and my sons. Tried a new shop. Said these where new in and good. Only had 6 boxes so I bought them to go with the 125 odd I already had. Shot in the storm today, really impressed with them. Very fast, accurate, and no more recoil than 21g. Only drawback I think I was overcharged £60 for 6 boxes. Anyone else used them. Centrepin
On the other hand my son bought a slab of Sporters £60, (think that's what they where) outrageous, misfires, poofs, thussss, lodges in barrels. Fired off a full slab, 💩💩💩 never buying them again. Shooting ground done us a deal on cartridges now as we usually go through a slab or so each a week. Going to try:

They’re a top end shell, but £10 a box is expensive! How do you judge the accuracy of them 🤣
Centrepin
Shotkam in wind. Went exactly where the gun was pointing regardless of wind or the buffoon holding it. I'll pop some vids up later. 3 minutes ago, Smokersmith said: They’re a top end shell, but £10 a box is expensive! Gordon R
Whilst I am bound to say I would have difficulty judging them, using your methodology, I have used quite a few boxes of these. Decent shells, but I could not see the massive difference that merits their price.

I have only the rubbish that my son was using to judge them against. He was consistently missing till he tried mine, then his hit ratio returned to normal. I usually use 21g so it's more difficult to judge, but my hit ratio was much higher with these, I tried his and failed repetitively. It's all I have and the shotkam to judge. Hamster
These used to be renowned for their kick back in the noughties, the current version has been reworked to be less thumpy but I’d be amazed if they’re as soft as any 21g loads. Gordon R
They were still thumpier than most shells last year.
Westley
I have around 150 of these left from a case that I bought around 17 years ago. I keep a box in my bag and if there is a bit of a long target on a stand, then I shoot one of them at it. I found that they do hold a pattern well at range but they do have a bit of a kick. I started using them many years back when I was using a fixed choke Winchester with 1/2 being my tightest choke. It worked back then and I have seen no reason to change things. They currently sell locally at £271/£282 per 1000 in plastic/fibre.
figgy
Hmm soft as 21g, as Hamster states they were kicky as hell. Express top cart so was never cheap. £10.00 a box is a lot, they're not £400.00 a thousand so expensive. Should say my mates used lots of them more than a decade back. I never got on with them. Perhaps it was my wishful thinking as I was hitting a good average in the high winds and rains and was wearing more layers. Talking to the site owner he said he thought they where punchy. New shop, think we were both overcharged and will vote with our feet and not go back. These are what my son bought: Edited February 15, 2020 by Centrepin Addition
