SGC Fees

Recommended Posts

Mine tried charging me £25 (which in hindsite is cheap compared to the misery some are going through on here) and I refused to pay. Feo phoned me and never mentioned it, I had the interview and recieved my licence in the post. Every thing was a little bit delayed but all sorted in the end. Don't know if I was lucky or they were so overrun they chose to overlook it, ive no idea. I really rate the Exeter team anyway

do all  doctors charge ?

The simple answer is, no they dont. There are no price guidelines, so Doctors are free to charge what they see fit for what is non-NHS work. You are evidenty lucky in that your GP decided not to charge, mine was £25 which I was happy to pay. Others have not been so fortunate and there are horror stories on this forum of people being told to cough up between £100 & £200.
