Hodmedod.one
Been out twice after the Foxes recently and managed to bag a young Vixen on both nights. The first one was in a field of wheat stubble. The straw was still in rows waiting to be baled. She was jumping over the rows and then ducking down. The headshot was unavoidable as it was the only part of her I could see through the cover. 121yds. The bullet went in through her right eye. The second was on stubble again. She was running away from us but my lamping partner managed to stop her with a squeak. She turned sideways on and gave me a lovely target. 187yds. Hodmedod.one
Decided to leave the bigger gun at home then? They were (just) out of range for the .22 rimmy, so it had to be the .243. Ammo was 100gn Prvi. My Steyr SSG loves them
