As I know sweet beggar all about 3D printing I have a question .

If I needed something copying how easy is it .

I ask as I have just bought a used flip over saw (before lockdown) and I have just noticed (silly me but it was only £50) there is a plastic cutting guide missing I have the right hand one but need a left hand one made as after hours of trawling the net I have come to the conclusion that they are not available ...

So anyone know how I could get one done

its the blue plastic bit

Yea £50 S/H on local gumtree add ..

It's nothing special its only a Macallister make

It's in fairly decent condition as the previous owner used it very little... maybe do with a new blade (or sharpening) but it's not going cost a fortune for that they do a pair on evilbay for £10 -£15

I've cut 18mm MDF and 15mm pine ok with it but I think it may need a new / different one for hardwood

Try looking for a second hand Evolution table top, flip, saw

i have had one for about 3 years....brilliant for the money AND it will cut metal as well as long as you dont abuse it

all the tilers around here use them for metal Edge trims

ive been cutting 4x1 and 3x2 with mine today for hours

They are a fiddle to,change from table to,chopsaw the first few times......after a while it can be done in about 5 seconds

if buying second hand make sure it comes with the lowER blade guard

this covers chop saw blade in table top mode and works the mechanical interlock saving the loss of fingers

I bought a brand new one from B&Q before this one but no matter what adjustments I did to it followed included instructions and videos on YouTube but no matter what I could not get it to cut square & true (table saw never tried chop saw) so took it back & bought this one
