CaptC
Two slow worms caught in the act. Extremely lively pair, the male holding the female mid body with quite a bite/suck! Oblivious to the presence of three curious children.

Walker570
Rarely see a snake about here. One grass snake killed on the lane about three years ago. I have only seen a slow worm twice , once when out stalking and the stalker suddenly stopped and pointed down. I initially thought adder, but he whispered slows enjoying themselves and sure enough that was what was happening. The second was being drawn from the jaws of a small wild brown trout in Slovenia, which i had just hooked on an upstream leaded nymph. Not huge but at least six inches long...as long almost as the trout.
