They used to have one on Loch of the Lowes not sure if they still do, however they are much more common than people realise, I quite regularly see one over the river from the comfort of our garden or when out walking, I have sat in a high seat with a nest a short distance behind me and paddled my kayak past another nest while fishing. 

If you like watching them get yourself up here next year.

Just checked, Loch of the Lowes has had an empty nest again this year, which is sad

There were two soaring above my house really high, Looked like they were going to bump in to a aeroplane that passed!(There are still a few up there!!)

Had my camera on the highest (60x) zoom and still had to crop the pic!!, I had a job keeping one in the fov!!

It's a rubbish pic but the best I could get, They were really shifting!!
