When will it be realised by all that these are economic migrants for the very most part. These individuals....who are mostly young men...have passed through at least two, maybe four EU Member States before they arrive at the French side of the English Channel. They are maybe when leaving their country of origin refugees from war or ethnic persecution but what war or persecution, exactly, are they meeting in Spain and then France or Italy and France or Greece and etc?

Now off-topic but it will become very very painfully relevant I predict. This. The idiot Johnson is trying to act the hard man by attempting to isolate President Macron of France from his EU colleagues over fishing rights. Actions have consequences and my forecast is that Johnson succeeds that France will retaliate (uisng already Johnson's recent change to the already agreed Withdrawal Agreement) by cancelling the Le Touquet Agreement.

The agreement was further strengthened between May and Macron whilst May was Prime Minister. It is independent of Brexit. If the French withdraw from it then there will be no lorry checks in France at Calais either with the ferries of the Channel Tunnel and so increasing the likelihood of illegal immigrants only being first detected on landing in the UK.

If they stop checks then we should stop checks on what leaves the uk to France also. Let drugs etc flow that way, so they have to deal with all those issues.

Even better, pay one immigrant a load of money to drive a lorry full of immigrants back the other way!
