paulinlincs
The best one I attended was at the beginning when it was at Newark. A real atmosphere and true bargains. It has gotten too big and commercial. I wouldn't go again.

I also went when it was at Stoneleigh and this year went to the NEC. I see it now as an excursion to a "place of interest" rather than as it was at Newark as a "place to buy". It's nice to see all the new guns, the new 'scopes, the latest airguns and etc., etc., but for me that's what it now is. A place for window shopping. And if it's accepted as that then it's not at all bad. It is what it is and what it is, IMHO, and the better for it too, is not an alternative to the old "Gunmakers' Row" of the UK's various and now defunct Game Fair events. crossy 666
As above really. they killed it for me when they moved it to the NEC it out priced a lot of the smaller traders that made the show
