Gordon R
Mice - Whilst I can't dispute the logic, it is the necessary travel aspect that concerns me. I can go clay shooting, but I can't travel to get there. I can click and collect from a gun shop, but can't travel to click and collect. The rules are poor - to be very charitable. Buying a gun from an individual is just the same as via an RFD. At some point - something is handed over - be it a gun or a licence. If any serving Police Officer is reading this - perhaps you could advise. Edited November 30, 2020 by Gordon R
Mice!
All shops are open from Wednesday even in tier 3, which tells me you can go and buy a gun, just use common sense. This is off Lancs live this afternoon, there is another article saying shops will be open 24/7 in the run up to xmas.

Government website refers to travel within your own area. I don't know whether that would mean my immediate area - Greater Manchester - or travel within the greater Tier 3 area - i.e. North of England. Raja Clavata
Just book an eye test close to where the gun is.
AVB
And this is what has happened to us. Frightened to do things that once were natural and are still perfectly legal. People are now frightened of their own shadows. Edited December 2, 2020 by AVB
