Agriv8
I have been invited to reduce some of the greys on a friends farm. I have insurance and have looked through permission forms on here so will get something knocked together. they have taken residence on one of his favourite fields for his pregnant sheep and is aware the damage geese poo can cause. so over to you guys what else do i need to sort before heading down he is very local ( Mrs Agriv8 runs past his farm regularly enough ) I thought a local map do he could mark his land. thanks in advance Agriv8
Delwint
Yes, I’d carry on. Get something in writing if possible, from the farmer with the address on.

WalkedUp
If they are grazing should be very easy. Let the numbers build. Watch the flight line in where they are low. Head out in the morning 1-2 hrs before sunrise. Get in position under them. Kill them as the flight over. We got 23 in 30 mins between 2 doing this. No decoys just a good recce, set hide up the night before. Farmer was pleased but big big birds to carry off.
Smokersmith
Google maps can be handy to understand field layouts etc. You can use the shot birds as decoys. If you're flighting them .. take the first bird early (especially if you're using an auto) as they fly pretty fast.
