enfieldspares
i Is it 65mm or 70mm chambered? If 70mm chambered it'll take the Eley 16 Bore Alphamax with its 1 1/8 ounce load. Nice guns are "16s" in any configuration. Edited January 24, 2021 by enfieldspares
mossy835
the sweet 16 is a very nice gun.

I think you are right. Yes Alphamax is for 70mm, not 65mm chambers!

But as you know (and subject anyway to choke) whilst it should be OK for also "standard steel" it will not be OK for "high performance" steel. But please don't take what I and others say about steel in YOUR gun...seek advice from either Proof House or competent gunsmith Enjoy your gun. Lucky man! It sounds a cracker.
