We are told the B117 mutation of this virus, is more transmissible. which clearly it is.  But although i have looked for an answer online, i still have found no information on just how it is more transmissible.

What is it about its constitution make up structure i do not know the term sorry.  Why is it so dangerous compared to old covid.

Don't forget the official line is there may be some evidence to suggest the new variant may be more transmissible. Not very compelling IMO.

Its an unknown virus and all the predictions and projections, apart from being mostly wrong, are pure guesswork. How could they be anything else?

Upto 70% more .transmitable but no evidence it is anymore deadly than the other strains.

On paper that may be true but on a like for like viral load... In practice It is likely to be more deadly simply because it is easier to transmit. In which case the viral load transferred will be greater than otherwise and the severity of the infection higher.

This was my understanding of it.

I have not seen all of this doctors videos, but i have watched his Chanel  throughout the pandemic. in this video he mentions the new variant could cause more disease.  I think his videos are presented in a way a layman like me can grasp, without wading through all the news papers to try and arrive at a conclusion myself which is nigh on impossible for me. 😀.
