I do find it so very satisfying when a pigeon flies through a full choke! 🙂

choke is just a piece of metal. the pattern is what the pattern is.

i got x full patterns out of cylinder with homeload subs. pattern is a pattern. choke is choke.

so its not clear cut. when i bought the choke originally it was for 24g #9 rc2  shells. thats a sweet combo. shame 28gram 9s are expensive or hard to find.

Good for you, I don’t reload.
I still find it hugely satisfying when a pigeon flies through the pattern from my tightest piece of metal. 🙂

Please forgive me if I am wrong here, but IM is Improved Modified ??  So equivalent to 3/4 choke English ???

Depends if you're American. Traditional UK sizes have it that IM = 3/4 (30 thou constriction), but for the US which is the major market, IM = 5/8 (25 thou)

Really?

Only decent shooting cartridge retailers have them, often small shops / retailers only reallt cater for 28gram 7.5. Because they sell way more.
