Again, manufacturers should just cut the ambiguity and list the dia in mm on their boxes. By standardisation I mean defined in an actual document - a standard - published by a recognized standards body or trade association. This is my point, I'm not aware of such a document existing, and absent the above, manufacturers will do what they want. And nobody is wrong.
