manton
You should get a lot of information from cva precision lates on Lathes.co.uk This site provides information on most machine tools .
sam triple
Ok the only people I know oh who supply lathes in that area are Dugards it may be one of their rebadged lathes ,worth ringing or emailing them for any info
Rob85
Mate that's not more than scrap, I can send a van round to take it if you like?? Im sure you can you tell I'm very jealous!! Looks like a very nice piece of kit that will serve you well. I doubt it's seen much use with how fresh and clean it's looking. If i can offer one bit of advice for its use, dont use compressed air to blow away swarf and chippings, brush them down or even buy a wee cheap Hoover, stops you inadvertently blowing bits in between the bed and carriage. If you have worked with lathes before I'm sure you will know this but just remember to wear nothing below the elbow!
