Pushandpull
It's a big gun, but never a punt gun : full size butt, stocked all the way to the muzzle, no obvious recoil device, etc. Too ornate and classy to be a bank made by a local smith. More likely a wall gun from somewhere well east of here. The wood looks as though it has little use, notably on the rest area or notch in the fore end. Pushandpull
Talk to Holts. Although they are based in West Norfolk, they have valuation days all over the country from time to time.
henry d
I'm with feltwad, bank gun. As for make??? French and Dutch fowlers used to shoot fowl on the water, so could be that type of thing, but does look a bit of a mongrel, good luck with the sale! Vince Green
The groove in the wood work is presumably at the point of balance?
