AND all of that filthy rich money goes into the factpories that produce these expensive cars and quite a bot of it goes into the pockets of ordinary guys and gals designing and building them.  The same when you buy your wide screen TV, somebody makes a profit but a lot of folk also earn the money to live from it.

What grieves me is that RR was sold off to a German company.

Just like the rest of what we had, sold off abroad, no control now over any utility/cost?

VW own Bentley.  I believe there is some component sharing with other VW/Audi products?

Yep, not just components but aspects of vehicle platform re-use too.
