Floating Chamber
What are the current .410 powders in use?
222mark
SP3 is the best. Hodgdon H110. Winchester 296. All good powders, it is the availability thats the problem.
Walker570
SP3 my first choice but have some LilGun which I am using for some 2 1/2 reduced loads for a youngster to start on. All of my serious shells use SP3 .
Salmo9
Currently using Hodgdon Lil’gun and H110 to good effect.. tend to be a bit ‘dirty’ in the barrels though.. Something I can live with..
Machinist
Ram shot Enforcer is another alternative, which I find a little cleaner

Generally, pressures are too low (11,000 to 13000psi) for a clean burn of slow burning powders suitable for the 410, run the same powder at 45,000psi and it burns clean. Walker570
Article in the business pages of the Telegraph this morning saying powders are going to be in very short supply. Time to stock up I think.
