enfieldspares
Ah. Mr Pape. Supposedly the man who invented choke boring and it may be, even, that at some point he may actually have done some of the "fettling" on the gun shown. I think later Pape was killed in a road accident? https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/focus-shameful-state-elswick-cemetery-1405877 https://www.ourdogs.co.uk/News/2009/June2009/News260609/150.htm Edited May 26, 2022 by enfieldspares

Pigeon1982
Lovely gun. I acquired a lovely live pigeon gun made by W R Pape in 1900. 30" barrels, choked full / full and chambered for 2 3/4 cartridges. Needed a bit of work to bring it back to its glory but well worth it. I have the contact details for the person who acquired the Pape gunmaking records who can provide details on the gun for a small donation to charity (was £20 which went to the Dogs Trust)
