It and two others were caught by the same chap who put them back thinking that as they were bass they were undersize - hence my confusion - it was a fortnight or so ago and I was only emailed the 'evidence' today. Dougy Posted June 17 Report Share Posted June 17 It doesnt look that big from the picture, checking i see the min size is 300mm, must admit they are nice freshly caught. I remember fishing in Donegal bay years ago, not being too good on sea fish i hooked what i thought was a small Cod, the skipper just about dived on me in case i lost it, it was a 3.5 - 4lb Pouting I had no idea how close it was to a record.
