Badger clearing licence

A relation has a pest control (poisons) licence, I don't know the exact wording of it, and is applying for his FAC.

Does anyone know the requirements for clearing badgers, and would persistent damage to golf club greens be likely approved as a reason for it?

That is my gut instinct too but it doesn't hurt to ask if anyone got that accepted.

It's too different bits of legislation. Badgers are protected it's not a legal quarry unless on the cull of course and then you don't need it on your licence.  You have still require the requisite calibre and have to be trained and appointed as a contractor.

That's more involved than I thought it would be - thanks for the advice and help. :good:

A lot of the time the antis go after the company ie the golf course as they are easier to get and have more to lose. They sit there doing there keyboard worrier bit and the jo public suck it all in. So you will probably find the golf course wouldn’t want to put there name to anything to do with it.
