Firearms suitable cabinet

Can someone please recommend me a firearms suitable cabinet which will easily store two shotguns, 2 rifles (with scopes) and rifle ammunition.

Normally, you cannot store rifle ammo in the same cabinet as the rifle. Or in the same place / room in the property.

I've not heard that before. Many safes have an internal locking ammo box where you can put the ammo for the rifle that's in the cabinet. I've never known a requirement to put ammo in a different safe or room. OP might wish to check with their FEO first.

I have a used a Brattonsound RL5+ to store scoped rifles and shotguns. I'm not overly fond of locking tops as access is a little restricted and the gun section is not as tall as I would have liked so a long rifle/shotgun is a bit of a squeeze.

I found it cheaper and more effective to get a seperate gun cabinet for the ammo.

i got a normal safe  bolted to the wall on top of my cabinet never had a problem in 30 yrs with this method from the FAO

Space is a big thing. I have rimfire ammo and a few hundred C/F of each calibre and the rifle mods the little boxes built in the cabinets are rarely big enough for the guns they hold.

As well as a ammo' cabinet, I also bought a gun cabinet and added shelves inside. This allowed me to store most of the various calibre ammunition I have.

That's a good idea Steve 👍 you could do this with a single gun cabinet

After checking the price between an ammunition cabinet and a 3 gun 'gun' cabinet, there was very little difference, so that's what I bought. As mentioned, I fitted 4 shelves inside and can now keep all, if required. my ammunition.
