simcgunner
I was invited to go on a hunt at an historic plantation. This house was one of the first tobacco plantations. owned by English settler. John Rolf who was married to an Indian princess. Pocahontas, she died in England and is buried there. Named Varina after the type of tobacco it exported. later it played a part in the American civil war. It still has bullet holes in its walls and a couple of cannon balls lodged in its upper oak timbers as well as a long scar right through its main hallway where a cannon ball skipped through the house.
