I've shot a few over the years both proper Russians as the Americans call them both in Poland and Slovenia and ate quite a fair bit. The true wild boar does taste much better than farm bred or even the wild hogs we shot out in Texas.  Our there anything over a year old went for sausage but the haunch/ham off of a young yearling took a lot of beating and the backstraps properly prepared where to die for.  Used to have some smoked, awesome.

Well done RimFire and thank you for the report.

You could patent that for a lot of the plain of York wildfowl in flood - vermin when dry !

it was quite easy to put up done it in  a day but it dose keep you dry and out of the sight line of anything that comes along have shot about 30 pigs and deer out of it

Yes, that is a very nice raised blind.  I saw one out in Texas which was erected for an American President. It had an electric elevator to get up and when in it had leather trimmed seats and a bar.   Nothing like being comfy.

Now that is what you call comfort put the kettle on while we wait 🤣
