Walker570 Posted April 10, 2023 Report Share Posted April 10, 2023 I've shot a few over the years both proper Russians as the Americans call them both in Poland and Slovenia and ate quite a fair bit. The true wild boar does taste much better than farm bred or even the wild hogs we shot out in Texas. Our there anything over a year old went for sausage but the haunch/ham off of a young yearling took a lot of beating and the backstraps properly prepared where to die for.
